What services do we offer?

Training

I am continuously developing and building the online training section to create a wide range of practical and responsive training to develop understanding of neurodivergence and disabilities. These are self-paced, accessible training courses which cover a range of topics. Certificates are provided upon completion.

I also deliver in-person training to companies and organisations. This is tailored to the needs of each organisation. Please use the contact form on the 'Contact Us' page to find out more about this offer.

Hello

I am Jayne Perkins. The Executive Director of Typically-Diverse Ltd.

I support employed and self-employed individuals with all aspects of their business. Through both professional and personal experiences, I have found a need for more understanding around neurodivergence and communication. I believe that with support, awareness and training, anyone has the potential to develop a greater understanding of the uniqueness that neurodivergent individuals bring to a workforce, social group or experience.

Many of the strategies that I support businesses to undertake cost very little, but the subsequent impact is huge. I support individuals in employment and self-employment to develop confidence and skills in a range of areas to enable them to utilise their areas of strength and feel empowered, leading to success. Employers also find that accessing these services allow them to retain their neurodivergent staff and create more inclusive workplaces.

Currently, we offer professional virtual assistant services to businesses of a range of sizes, personal support work services (privately funded, employer funded or Access to Work funded), online self-paced training courses and larger training sessions for organisations.

Tried & Trusted Professionals

Have you been awarded an Access to Work grant and don't know where to start?

Perhaps you have been awarded coaching and want to make the best decision - one that utilises your award for you?

If you have a support worker/job aide element and need someone you can connect with, who can support you with the demands of your job, business or role within an organisation - the Trusted Professionals page may be just what you need too.

I have personally tried to navigate the offers available and found so many barriers. For a no-pressure commitment to work with them, the Trusted Professionals featured on this site offer free Discovery Calls which allow you to see, hear and meet them before committing. And we absolutely do not take offence if you choose not to work with us!

There are a range of professionals on the page who have been tried and tested, with various levels of experience across a range of sectors from Earth Coaching who work with individuals who are neurodivergent and chronically ill, to individuals who have worked in the Prison Service, County Councils, Social Care, Schools and even published authors!

Typically-Diverse Ltd do not take commission and your contract and agreement with them is completely independent.

Why not take a look?

Applying for Access to Work

Applying for Access to Work funding can be daunting and, if you are neurodivergent, the 'unknown' processes of the application can make us avoid it entirely. I have created a free, handy download which outlines some basic steps to help you prepare for, and apply for, Access to Work.
